How much does a fence cost?
The material, linear footage, and number of gates drive the price more than anything else. You will receive a written quote during the site visit, calculated based on your actual lot rather than an average.
Do I need a permit to install a fence?
In almost all municipalities, yes; most also require a current site plan along with the permit application. Maximum heights and setbacks are determined locally, so they vary from one municipality to the next. Handling this process is part of the service you are paying for.
How long does installation take?
Once the permit is approved and materials are on-site, most jobs are completed in a single day. Large yards and custom woodwork may extend the timeline to two days. The wait time between the quote and installation is usually determined by the permitting office.
How do I choose a fence company?
